About Sel-Tech Precision Machining
Jerry Selken founded sel-Tech in 1985. Jerry has an extensive knowledge
of sheet metal fabrication for the aviation industry. From Hughes
Aircraft to Aero Union Corporation, Jerry has seen and done it all.
Sel-Tech was established to meet the increasing demand for the Air Stair systems for Winters Aircraft and eventually Aerocon Engineering Company. Over the years we have become very proficient in keeping pace with the technology in order to stay competitive / cost effective.
One thing that sets Sel-Tech apart from our

of precision CNC machining, custom
sheet metal fabrication, turn-key
assembly, and second operation finishes Sel-Tech can do it all.
In 1998 Sel-Tech became an FAA Approved Repair Station for AirStair systems from Boeing, Douglas, Lockheed, and Airbus. Sel-Tech is authorized to repair or overhaul parts and components of the air stair system to return to service. Precision Machining and sheet metal fabrication is utilized to make all repairs to design data and overhaul manuals. All work is certified under the repair station and signed off by authorized representatives.
Over the years we have gained intimate knowledge of air stair assemblies, including hydraulic systems and wiring. We have had a lot of experience in machining and forming thin gauge stainless steel for auxiliary power units and various other aircraft accessories. The staff at Sel-Tech is extremely confident in all aspects of machining and sheet metal fabrication.
