We are an FAA Approved Repair Station for Airstairs

Sel-Tech is a FAA Certified Repair Station and holds a certificate under the rating of airframe. At this time we are limited to the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the airstairs system and components.

All work is performed in accordance with the manufactures data, the Aircarrier's manual or other data acceptable to the FAA Administrator. All work is certified and returned to service under the 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate.

Sel-Tech is sanctioned under the repair station approval to maintain, repair or overhaul all models of airstair systems for Boeing, Douglas, Lockheed and Airbus.

More specifically, Sel-Tech has extensive knowledge and equipment in our FAA Approved Repair Station to repair Webber airstairs for the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 aircraft models. We are conveniently located near the Chico airport in northern California with its 6700 foot long runway.

All repairs are made by qualified technicians who fall under the guidelines set forth by the FAA. This includes a drug and alcohol abatement program, documented hands-on training, and safety training.

All hardware provided for repairs is controlled and documented to provide traceability back to the manufacturer. Documentation of work performed, certifications, and dynamic testing of all repairs is provided to the customer and filed on-site.

Sel-Tech has several test stands for all types of airstairs, including a full carriage for testing the Webber airstair systems.
